While it’s always recommended that you seek professional help if you are having pain, slant board squats have been shown to help fix patellar tendonitis and improve many other knee ailments. One of the best slant board exercises is the Poliquin step up. This one legged partial squat on a slant board created by Charles Poliquin, is incredibly effective for patellar tendon training. Slant boards can also be used to help with plantar fasciitis and stretching and strengthening of the calves.
